Nuçi’s Story Project

Uzupis Theatre Company and b. Productions will be conducting preliminary interviews for an upcoming documentary about singer/songwriter Nuçi Phillips. We are looking to interview individuals, families, friends or groups that have been affected by Nuçi Phillips’ death and the impact that Nuçi’s Space, as well as Linda Phillip’s creation of Nuçi’s Space, has had upon the community.

We are also looking for people who would be interested in volunteering for this project in any capacity.

We will also look into getting interviews with professionals from the CDC on mental health/suicide issues as well as psychologists, psychiatrists and counselors who will help us provide the community at large with the resources necessary to obtain help as well as prevention.

Criteria

The stories need to reflect on how the space allows his memory to live on and enables his legacy to be a tangible and valuable tool that supports and helps others live their best lives.

Through this effort our goal is to show how, with courage and focus, good things can come out of bad things and to inspire other to do this in their own lives – no matter what their “Nuçi’s Space” would be, while remembering the life of Nuçi Phillips.

To schedule a 20 minute spot please contact Brandon Deyette at info@uzupistheatre.com . We are accepting walk-ins as well but prefer people to schedule an appointment beforehand.
